Car Audio Expert collects personal identifiable information from users when they register for membership, newsletter, purchase or service (including special offers and sweepstakes). Other information may be sent to CAE through our partners.

Car Audio Expert uses personal identifiable information for the following purposes: To contact users regarding sweepstakes, specials and new products. To personalize advertising and content and to fulfill requests and applications for special services and products.

Other information such as address and credit card information are used for billing purposes and in order to contact a user in case there is a problem processing an order.

ground takes between 2-7 days, depending on your location.

Yes, you can specify to Car Audio Expert when ordering, a faster delivery
method. You will be invoiced for the difference in shipping.

Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico residents are shipped Fed-ex 2nd day air. Car Audio Expert does offer the most competitive rates available.

Editing and deleting you account information

Car Audio Expert gives you the ability to enter your account information and either edit or delete information form your profile and preferences at any time. Including your wish to either be or not be notified about sales, special offers, sweepstakes and new products.

From time to time CAE may decide to put onto affect a referral service. In that case we will ask our users for name and e-mail address of a friend and our system will save this information for the sole purpose of sending this person a one-time introductory e-mail inviting them to our site. What is the Warranty on my products?

Car Audio Expert provides the manufacturer's warranty with ALL our products. We takes great pride in our customers and their satisfaction. If a product is defective or requires repair, we will get it taken care of for you. Our policy works like this: If you have a product that needs repair, you ship it back to us, we fix it, and we ship it back to you. We stand behind our products and our customers… which means you can feel comfortable with all your orders from caraudioexpert.com.

What is covered and not covered under warranty?

We cover just about everything that could go wrong with your products, except abuse and installation error. Abused merchandise would be merchandise dropped, mishandled, altered, physically broken, or otherwise not meeting the manufacturer's warranty guidelines. In other words, if your product breaks under normal playing conditions, we'll get it repaired or replaced for you… but if you shove a screwdriver through the surround of your subwoofer while installing it, you're responsible for it. Since installation error can be easily encountered, we recommend that all Car Audio Expert products be professionally installed. *Car Audio Expert can not be held liable for incidental loss of use, installation, removal, and reinstallation charges associated with a defective or returned product.

What do I do if I need to return my product?

The first step is to call 1-800-966-4213 or email order@caraudioexpert.com for an RA# (return authorization number). You have two weeks within the date of the invoice to return the product for a refund (products exchanged must be in "like new" condition). After that period, returned items must be repaired. Shipping is non-refundable and all returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge… items returned with missing parts will be charged for those missing parts. Basically, as long as the item is returned in the same condition as it was received, there is no problem with returning the item.

Fair Credit Billing Act

We guarantee that every online transaction you make will be 100%
safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to
your card as a result of shopping at our online store. Under the Fair
Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than
$50.00 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any
of this $50.00, We will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full
$50.00. We will only cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your
credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made
while using the secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your
credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance
with its reporting rules and procedures.
